"Squirt." Gaze glared daggers through the sack angrily. "SQUUUUUUUUIIIIIIIRT." She called loudly, then promptly proceeded to attempt biting through the sack. No use. The sack just sorta... rolled.

Roll, slide, squish, and mop the floor, really. Maybe the professor wont be all to angry. Not that the thief really cared.
Chipping the ice with his fingers was not working. He reached up onto a table near by, hoping to find a tool to pry his foot free from with.

Luckily, on the desk, there was a screwdriver which Sakura had used to change the batteries in one of the KohteNavs.
Waterfall, meanwhile, was hanging off the windowsill, watching the whole thing. He quickly hopped off and ran to awake Maicchan. The Mantine awoke, yawning.
Waterfall quickly explained everything, and Maicchan flew out with the Squirtle on her back. They would get help! And even if they couldn't at this time... They could at least agree to fight to reclaim their friends if they were, in fact, stolen.

The robber's pale fingers quickly wrapped around the screwdriver and pulled it down. He then began to chip away at the ice at a much faster speed, now that he had a tool to work with.
He didn't unchip the ice from his full foot, though-that would take too long. Instead he loosened and removed enough ice so he could slip his foot out of his sneaker.
looking down at the small pokeballs he had stolen, and put into his pockets earlier, he slipped outside, just as Waterfall and and Maicchan were out of sight.
It didn't take him very long to pick out a good handful weak, heavy sleeping Pokemon that would make decent enough test subjects. Deciding to leave the way he came, he went back into the house, and closed the door behind him. It was then that he retook notice of the struggling blanket that contained the shiny squirtle.
Recalling that squirtles normally had brown shells and dark blue bodies, he quickly concluded that this squirtle was special, for she had a green shell and a light blue body. He gave the sack a few kicks with the foot that still had the shoe on to see if the squirtle had exhausted enough for him to capture. She was an impressive Pokemon, despite having made his life harder than it already was.

Deciding he might as well risk it, he tapped the button to the last pokeball he had stolen, expanding it to the size of an orange. He then loosened a hole in the bag that was just big enough for him to put his hand through. He reached in, holding the pokeball out with the capture button facing forward.
If it didn't work, he could always just tie the bag up tight again and toss her in a lake or something...

Gaze squished herself against the floor and bent her body in an attempt to avoid the Pokeball. She took a deep breath to preapre herself for an ice beam again. Why wouldn't anyone effing wake up in this place!? >o<

The squirtle was starting to not be worth it...
The intruder narrowed his blossom-colored eyes in frustration, making one last thrust into the bag with his pokeball in hand, aiming at where he more or less saw a bit of a lump.
If this didn't work, this overgrown amphibian was SO going to be chucked into the ocean...!

Gaze winced as she was pulled inside.
Well, this sucked.
At least she could try and break free! The shiny squirtle wiggled and thrashed inside the pokeball.

He saw the big lump of the squirtle's body disappear into the device in his hand. Common sense then kicked in, and he dropped the pokeball as he yanked his arm out of the sack. If the feisty squirtle DID escape the little red and white containment unit, the pokeball would shatter. Having pokeball shards in your hand didn't exactly sound very appealing to the intruder.

Gaze grumbles profanities (in Squirtle talk, of course) as she shook around the pokeball, slamming herself into the walls.

The poke-napper tied the blanket-turned-sack tight again, just in case. He then proceeded to back off a bit, waiting for the ball that was shaking and rolling around inside the sack to stop.
She was one heck of a stubborn pokemon...! The thief had to give her that much.

Gaze slumped huffily to the bottom of the Pokeball, defeated. The device let out a ding, and she grumbled. Well, this didn't mean to say that she had to follow the intruder's orders.... She smirked as she thought of being thrown into a battle and promptly sending out a water gun on her captor.

The intruder didn't even crack a smirk when the device let out a ring, and the pokeball stopped shaking. He snatched the blanket-turned-sack up, and untied it. He then retrieved his final prize. This surely would please the people of higher status then him. He slipped it in with the other pokeballs, the pack he was using now looking a bit bulgy from all the pokemon inside.
There was no point in him cleaning up, he concluded. Also, the night was beginning to end, the darkness having been slightly less faint than before. He exited the way he came, from the window, and began to take off, making a break for the first ferry that traveled off this island in the morning. He was pretty sure that the boat left around dawn, and if not, he could always turn his poncho inside-out and pose as a trainer or such. He was young enough to pose as one, after all, he was still in his younger teens, despite his very mature attitude and profession...
