It was night. The small island of Bell was only illuminated by the many stars that was speckled across the sky, and the moon, which was just a slither past halfway full.
It was hard to believe that earlier that day, these now vacant streets were once filled with lines upon lines of excited trainers, waiting impatiently to receive their first Pokemon so they could start their Pokemon journey. Now, though, only one figure stalked the roads. He walked upright, unaffected by the urgency of his situation. A pair of rather unique goggles was pulled down over his eyes, his bangs, which glinted in the faint moon light, budged and frayed from where the air-tight goggles clung to his face.
As he approached his target, he pulled himself off to the side of the road slowly, letting himself blend into the monochromatic shades of the night. Pushing one of the gold buttons on the side of his eyewear, he examined the house to get a better look.
This house was that of professor Sakura's.
This figure crept along the side of the house, aiming to slip in through the back door, but soon decided against it as he spotted the larger, more dangerous Pokemon that slept in the fenced out backyard. Nidokings, Rhyorns, and Arcanines, oh my!
Reminding himself that this was to be a stealth mission, he decided instead to see if any of the windows were unlocked. Positioning himself away from the backyard, he placed his goggles back onto his head to peer into one of the windows to make sure that no one was inside. Not spotting anyone, he tried to crack open the said window.

Sakura was, at the moment, asleep at her desk over a pile of papers. Headphones were on her head and attached to the computor that was at the side of the desk. It was still currently playing loud music. My, Sakura was a heavy sleeper...

It took a few wiggles before the unlocked window opened, and squeaked a bit as the figure pushed it up. He winced a little at the noise, before peeking his head in and slipping inside the building.
His shoes made little noise along the tile floor as he wandered forward a few paces, hearing faintly a soft rhythm. He soon spotted the music's source as he caught glimpse of the light glowing from the laptop screen. He took a few hesitant steps better to get a better look, before settling down again as he saw the professor sprawled out on her desk, practically drooling on her papers in her sleep.
Rolling his eyes a little, almost unable to believe how pathetic the security was, he moved over to where the left over trainer packs were. He gathered a few of the pokeballs in their marble-sized form from the starter packs, as well as some of the money included. He'd need something to pay to the ship ride back to the mainland.
The intruder then turned to search for his real reason here, the Pokemon.

Sakura yawned and stretched her arms over the paper, then went back into her deep sleep. "Zzz..."
Meanwhile, Gaze, outside, rolled over into a small pond of water, waking up immediately. The shiny squirtle scoffed at the water interrupting her beauty sleep, and hopped up on to the rocks. She was about to lie down again before the intruder caught her eye. "Squirt?" She questioned, then hurriedly scampered to stop him.

The intruder jumped a little and pulled himself behind a filing cabinet as professor Sakura flailed in her sleep before flopping back onto her desk. The fellow with the goggles thought in the back of his mind that she looked like a magikarp out of water when she shifted in her sleep.
Slipping out from his hiding space when he felt that professor Sakura had settled again, he began to search the house for any Pokemon that would be easily recaptured. He wasn't really on the quest for amazing Pokemon, but for ones who would be excellent specimens as test subjects for the new developments in Shadowfication. The Lunar Lab Base had been running low on fresh Pokemon to subject to the shadowfication process. Sending out their Grunts to play Pokemon Trainer and capture them the normal way would take too long and stall productivity. It had been decided that kidnapping many weak but domesticated Pokemon at once would be faster.
That why this young man sported the Team Lunar Logo on the front of his black poncho. That was why this young man was here.
He did not catch wind of the splashing of the squirtle outside, though. Professor Sakura's loud music just barely managed to drowned out the noises from the yard.

Gaze hid behind a rock, eyes narrowed to create some sort of awesome, awe-inspiring, front-page-worthy plan to stop the intruder.
Yay for publicity.
The shiny squirtle pondered for a few more moments before hopping back up onto the ground and hurrying to fulfill her plans.
"SQUIRT! >o<" She called as she pushed the door open and aimed a water gun at the intruder.

Comically enough, The poke-napper happened to be close to the door at the time, on the side where the hinges were, so instead of getting water-gunned, was promptly squished. Which resulted in a suppressed yelp of pain. Doorknobs were not comfortable when rammed into your spine...
The water-gun poured all over the walls and floor aswell as soaked into the absorbent objects in the room. It was not a pretty sight at all...

Gaze blinked and looked around. Where in the world had that intruder gotten to? ... Dang. He was good.
"Squuuiiirt..." The squirtle pondered again, then walked further into the building.

Ow.... ow.... ooowww....
The intruder hunched slightly and rubbed his now aching back as the door started closing itself with its left over energy. That had hurt!
He found himself sweat-dropping a little at the room's new appearance. It had become a health hazard in only a few seconds. The tile floors were slippery. Everything looked twice as flimsy since it had soaked in water. All the wood was water-stained...
He betted with himself that the professor would be raving mad when she woke up. If she woke up. He wouldn't be surprised if she slept through the end of the world.
Deducting that all the Pokemon happened to be outside, since the off-looking squirtle obviously had barged in, he contemplated on slipping out.
That wouldn't remove the fact that the squirtle would most likely go at him with another water gun later that night, though...
While closing the door that had smashed him a moment ago, he looked around himself for something to control the squirtle with. It was too risky to go head-on-head with the turtle Pokemon, after all...

Gaze spun around at the door's squeak and blinked. Oh, so there he was....
She pointed accusingly. ".... SQUIRT! >o<" The shiny pokemon took a deep breath. Okay, okay. This'd be hard. She'd just been taught this via TM.
Gaze blew out a breath which instantly became frozen: an ice beam. That'd teach him to mess with the lab!

The intruder was ready to go for a blanket that the professor most likely had discarded in her restless sleep, and did manage to retrieve it as the squirtle dramatized her attack with the pointing of one of her fingers. He didn't get the chance to throw the blanket over top the shiny squirtle, though, and instead found himself scrambling back in an atempt to dodge a rather uninviteing ice beam.
He was fast, but not quite fast enough, for he found himself falling on his behind, and a hard cold-chill hitting him from his feet. Forcing himself to shrug-shiver off the pain, he took a glance down, to see his right foot encased in ice and attached to the floor with the frozen water's frost.
This was not his day...

Gaze stomped angrily over to the intruder and waggled a finger in his face as if scolding him. "Squirt, squirtlesquirt... SQUIRT. SQUIRT. SQUIRTSQUIRTLE!" She concluded, stomping a foot down on the ground.

An emotionless expression swept over the intruder's face as the shiny squirtle scolded him. The squirtle didn't get to add anything on after the stomp, though, because he still had the blanket in his hands. He put said blanket to use by tossing it over the sassy squirtle and hanging onto the corners, intending to tie the squirtle in it, escape, get what he came here for, then bail.

"SQUUUIIIIRT!" Gaze scrambled around in the blanket, trying to attack the intruder through it. And if she couldn't do that, then she'd at least try and get the attention of one of her many brothers..

It took a good deal of effort, but the intruder did manage to tie the ends off in double knots eventually, using his free foot to kick the sack with the Pokemon it it away from him.
He then turned his attention to his frozen foot, it now going rather numb. His first attempt was to pick the ice away with his fingers, but it wasn't working all too well...
