((X3 Slateport pwns)

A teenage girl came running into the town of Slateport. A small Torchic running closely behind trying its best to keep up with her.

"Haha! We're here! Looks nice too." she said happily.

"Tor.." the fire bird replied, tiredly.

The girl picked her Torchic up and held him in her arms. "Now to find a restaraunt, or something..I'm starving! We walked a long way."

The Torchic nodded in reply, and snuggled up to its trainer. He was happy to finally be off his feet.

The girl walked on, exploring the town. It was bright and cheery, and seemed like such a nice homey place. And it was by a nice ocean, too. As she continued on she saw a resaraunt that looked pretty cheap as well as good. So, she went inside and was seated in a booth by a waitress. She ordered some water and the waitress left to get it.

The girl sat the Torchic down next to her and stroked him gently. "Well Tikaru, this is where the real journey begins. No more stuck up snobs who think they know it all. No, everything is up to us now." she said, in a somewhat relieved tone.
"Tor.." Tikaru replied, closing its eyes.

After having a bite to eat and resting, the brown haired girl decided to explore the pretty town some more. She payed and left the restaraunt, Tikaru perched on her shoulder.

She looked around in awe of the place. She felt such a rush of freedom and happiness. She couldn't believe she was finally on her own like this.

Caught up in her ownlittle world, and the awe of Slateport, the girl didn't notice the twirly girl up ahead of her. So, she bumped right into her and fell back a bit.

"Gah!" she exclaimed, coming to reality again. She looked at the girl. "Er...I'm sorry!" she said, embarassed.
